How can we describe a lady who opened a shop on the ground floor of Etienne Balsam’s apartment in Paris—the beginnings of what would later become one of the greatest fashion empires in the world ,who established new designs and revolutionized the fashion industry by going "back to basics", incorporating elegance, class, and originality, who can be regarded as a legend?
Yes ,this lady is CoCo Chanel .I’ve seen a lot articles written about CoCo Chanel together with several movies ,and I have my own interpretation about this amazing lady in my mind which will perhaps be shown in the later following posts , cause it hasn’t been well composed yet . But as CoCo Chanel ever said “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” Chanel tells us what real fashion is, and in my point of view that’s exactly the soul of this brand.
