RockbandGuns N' Roses, which has played to sold-out crowds at ginormous
stadiums for countless tours, is getting intimate with fans. The group
announced Monday that it is kicking off a series of shows in February in
much smaller venues.
GNR will kick off the tour, currently with six confirmed dates, at NewYork's
Roseland Ballroom (maximum standing capacity of 3,200) on Feb. 10.
Among the three New York shows is a gig at the 1,500-capacity Webster
Hall, once known as The Ritz, where GNR filmed the MTV concert "Live at
the Ritz" in 1988.
